This product is made using only daikon radish grown in Owatanezawa, Akita City, a village in the mountains where the Omonogawa River flows through in Akita, Tohoku. We use high-quality daikon radish grown in full sunlight and marinate it in beer. Although it is pickled in beer, it is used as a manufacturing method to bring out the flavor of Iburigakko, rather than the flavor of alcohol or other alcoholic drinks. Makoto Nosan's ``Iburigakko'' is not pickled in traditional rice bran, but rather in beer, resulting in a refreshing ``Gakko'' without bitterness or aftertaste. It has a very mellow and umami flavor that brings out the deliciousness of the smoky pickled radish even more. Children can also eat it. It has a crispy texture and a first-class texture.
