OMRON Brachial Blood Pressure Monitor Premium 19 Series HCR-7602T
When the cuff pressure is increased above the systolic blood pressure and then gradually reduced, a pulsation phenomenon occurs in which the heartbeat is synchronized with the pressure. This pulsation starts small, grows larger as the pressure is reduced, and after reaching a maximum amplitude, it becomes smaller again, forming a mountain-shaped pattern. Oscillometric blood pressure monitors use a microcomputer to analyze the amplitude waveform information of this pulsation and the cuff pressure to determine the systolic and diastolic blood pressure.
