Nakao plaster is a topical Chinese herbal preparation listed in "Hanaoka Seishu's" Chunlin eaves plaster ". It has the effect of removing heat, promoting drainage, relieving pain, and dissipating congestion in the early stages of swelling. This drug is composed of only four active ingredients, phellodendron powder, turmeric powder, beeswax, and sesame oil, and does not contain any other additives. This agent is a yellowish brown ointment, but it is mainly derived from the color of the powder of Phellodendron amur and the powder of turmeric. The colors of the other ingredients are also relevant, but the colors may vary slightly as all ingredients are derived from natural products.
