The Ichibata Electric Railway is a 42.2km railway line consisting of two lines: the Kita-Matsue Line between Dentetsu Izumo City and Matsue Shinjiko Onsen, and the Taisha Line between Kawaato and Izumo Taisha Mae. The 3000 series, which was active on the Ichibata Electric Railway, was originally the 21001 series of Nankai Electric Railway, nicknamed "Zoom Car" and was active on the Koya Line. Ichibata Electric Railway's standard colors are yellow and blue, and from 2012, the 3008 train set was reverted to the original Nankai Electric Railway color. Retired after driving on February 3, 2015 due to the entry of the 1000 series of substitute vehicles. TM-05R (improved version of 17m class A TM-05) is recommended for the separately sold power unit, TT-04R for the driving parts set, and PG16 (0238) for the pantograph.
